A: It is never too early to start making selections. We urge you to start furnishings selection process in the early stages of your project. Often times design decisions have an effect on other choices that have been made. Avoiding changes late in a project saves time and money.
Q: What does the furnishings selection process look like at Becker?
A: The process typically consists of the following:
- A schematic layout plan with the client
- Site visit
- Scheduled meetings to make selections of furniture from our variety of vendors from our commercial resource library
- Select fabrics and finishes according to the finish selection
- Upon request, presentation boards can be created of the finished scheme
- Facilitate and review vendor proposals
- The ordering process
- Execution and delivery of the final order
Q: I already have an Interior Designer. Can I bring them into the process?
